The project focuses on having respect for oneself and others,
discussing issues important to the individuals through sharing
own
experiences, challenges negative comments and setting individuals
targets. Promoting the importance of self-motivation and instilling
a
level of confidence. The aim is to offer the opportunity to challenge
a
pupils mind without them feeling challenged, combined with the
ability to educate, whilst having fun.
It has been important to modify the language used in the project
as well as the content in order to make it relevant to the different
year groups. For example, the importance of SATs revision and
making good choices for options in Year 9 and GCSEs for Year
11.

“Paul came in to school to work with Key Stage
2 children:
• He was a breath of fresh air.
• His work with the children was inspiring.
• I myself as head teacher learned from Paul.
• As we are promoting reading I think Paul would be a great help
and would welcome him back into our school.”
